Job Description
Lead and manage the dispensary and clinic operations to ensure service excellence, high standards of pharmaceutical care, and compliance with SAPC regulations. Drive operational efficiency, staff development, and customer satisfaction to achieve business targets and enhance brand competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities

Provide accurate and safe dispensing, including generic substitution, while offering professional advice in line with Clicks’ standards, good pharmacy practice, and SAPC regulations.

Manage all operational activities of the dispensary, including stock control, shrinkage prevention, housekeeping, and administration in line with merchandising, SAPC standards, and company policies.

Ensure financial viability of the dispensary through budget management, monitoring expenses, and achieving dispensary and clinic targets.

Lead, develop, and motivate pharmacy employees, including learners and interns, to build capacity and capability for current and future business needs.

Schedule staff in accordance with labour policies and models, ensuring adequate departmental coverage and accurate time and attendance reporting.

Implement customer service initiatives that enhance customer experience, drive loyalty, and achieve club card participation targets.

Foster integration and collaboration between the dispensary, clinic, and healthcare aisles to provide a comprehensive offering to customers.

Support the Group’s vision by promoting company values and creating a high-performing, cohesive, and customer-focused pharmacy culture.

Minimum Requirements

Registered Pharmacist with SAPC (Essential)

Minimum 2 years’ experience post-community service (Essential)

Minimum 1 year people management experience (Essential)

Registration with SAPC as the Responsible Pharmacist (Essential)

Retail pharmacy experience (Desirable)

Unisolv system experience (Desirable)
