Food and Beverage Attendant – Pooled
Main Purpose of the Job
The Food & Beverage Attendant at Sun International will play a key role in delivering exceptional hospitality services across various outlets, including restaurants, banqueting, and casino floor operations (where applicable). Responsibilities include preparing dining and event setups, serving food and beverages, maintaining operational standards, minimizing waste, and providing outstanding guest experiences in line with company policies.

- Explain menu items and provide recommendations.

- Handle cashiering and end-of-shift cash-ups.

Customer Engagement
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service.
- Educate guests on promotions and facilities.
- Resolve complaints swiftly and escalate when needed.

Education, Experience, and Requirements
- Grade 12 or equivalent NQF qualification.
- 2+ years of experience as a waiter, bartender, or in a customer service role.
Work Conditions & Special Requirements
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical ability to handle operating equipment.
- Willingness to rotate across different outlets based on operational needs.
