What will you do?

Strategy Development & Business Planning:

  • Collaborate with the Area Manager to align the Provincial strategy into a targeted Branch strategy, including goals and KPIs.
  • Provide insights for monthly, quarterly, and annual business planning.

Sales Delivery:

  • Communicate Branch strategies and sales targets to teams, defining Key Result Areas.
  • Optimize operational systems and processes to support sales performance.
  • Uphold compliance, quality, and Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) standards in line with FSCA regulations.

People Management:

  • Partner with HR to build high-performing teams through recruitment and talent development.
  • Oversee performance management, training, and professional accreditation for staff.

Monthly Planning & Reporting:

  • Track sales performance, identify gaps, and implement corrective measures.
  • Analyze data to refine strategies and improve monthly outcomes.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders (Area Managers, business partners, unions).
  • Resolve escalated client queries and implement preventive solutions.

What will make you successful in this role?

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Grade 12.
  • Degree or 3-year diploma in Finance, Marketing, or Business Management; or
  • Full FSCA-recognized qualification (NQF Level 4 minimum, NQF 5 advantageous).
  • RE5 and RE1 certifications.
  • 5+ years’ industry experience (3+ years in sales management).
  • Insurance sales experience in entry-level markets preferred.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Sales strategies, stakeholder management, and customer service.
  • Regulatory compliance and people management best practices.
