Pharmacist

Job Purpose:
Provide high-quality pharmaceutical care through accurate and safe dispensing, including generic substitution, and professional advice in line with Clicks’ standards, good pharmacy practice, and the legal scope outlined by the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication while providing professional counselling and advice.

Manage all operational activities of the dispensary, including stock control, shrinkage prevention, housekeeping, and administrative duties in compliance with SAPC regulations and company standards.

Focus on core dispensary and clinic targets to maintain operational efficiency and business viability.

Oversee training and development of Pharmacist Assistants and Interns to ensure competency in line with SAPC requirements.

Implement customer service initiatives to enhance patient experience, drive loyalty, and achieve club card participation targets.

Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including centre managers, suppliers, and distribution centres, to achieve business objectives.

Promote integration and collaboration with the clinic and healthcare aisle, providing customers with a comprehensive healthcare offering.

Support the Group’s vision to be the customer’s first-choice health and beauty retailer by living and promoting company values.
Minimum Requirements:
Education & Experience:
-
Registered Pharmacist with SAPC (essential)

Retail pharmacy experience (desirable)
-
Experience with Unisolve system (desirable)
