Job Purpose:
Represent, detail, sell, and deliver ethical and proprietary products to doctors, pharmacies, specialists, optometrists, and institutions (e.g., state hospitals).

Key Job Outputs:

  • Detail ophthalmologists, paediatricians, ENTs, GPs, optometrists, and pharmacies on product benefits.
  • Manage territory and time effectively.
  • Ensure stock levels, merchandising, and promotions align with marketing strategies.
  • Adhere to marketing codes of conduct and legislation.
  • Organize CME programs for healthcare professionals.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.
  • Submit expense claims and maintain vehicle logs.
  • Utilize customer relationship marketing effectively.
  • Foster cost-effective customer relations.
  • Travel extensively within the designated territory.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative.
  • Matric + Degree in a Science-related field.
  • Specialist detailing experience and strong industry relationships preferred.
  • Knowledge of market share metrics and performance drivers.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
