Parts Salesperson – AFGRI
Job Overview
Provide over-the-counter sales and administration functions for parts stock while maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring efficient stock control.
Required Minimum Education/Training
- Grade 12
Required Minimum Work Experience
- 1-year sales and administration experience
- Parts sales experience is essential
Key Performance Areas
- Maintain stock availability by ordering stock in line with branch procedures
- Conduct regular stock counting and stocktaking
- Manage stock control and rotation of old and new stock
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers
- Address customer queries and complaints promptly
- Ensure accurate cash balancing
- Process account payments on time and accept cash, credit cards, etc.
- Handle sales and returns following company procedures
- Comply with risk and safety regulations
- Ensure safe storage of stock
Technical Knowledge/Competencies
- Strong product knowledge
- Computer literacy (MS Office)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Effective communication abilities
- Valid driver’s licence
