Spar Vacancies – Administrator

Introduction:
A 6-month contract position is available for an Administrator to join our dynamic team based in Mitchell’s Plain, Southern Suburbs, Cape Town.

Job Description:
The Administrator will be responsible for supporting the Business Unit by ensuring the highest level of internal control, efficient system use, and contributing to the overall management of the store. This role involves key administrative tasks across various departments.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Accounts administration
  • Staff and payroll administration
  • Tenant administration (correspondence & processing)
  • General office administration
  • Reporting directly to the Senior Manager / Director
  • GRV administration
  • Recipe costing processing

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric / Grade 12
  • Previous experience as an office administrator in the retail sector
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have own transport
  • Familiarity with systems (SPAR SIGMA advantageous)
  • No criminal record or bad credit record (vetting will be done)
