Drive business growth in partnership with Private Advisors by executing strategic initiatives, managing business development projects, and achieving key portfolio objectives. The Business Development Manager will identify leads, support campaigns, and strengthen relationships within assigned regions.

Responsibilities:
- Provide first-line support for escalations beyond standard turnaround times.
- Manage segment leadership requests and address regional challenges.
- Oversee end-to-end engagement processes from quote submission to completion.
- Generate leads and optimize adviser tools for business opportunities.
- Execute and track regional campaigns to maintain Momentum.
- Monitor and strategize to achieve monthly budget targets.
- Analyze financial forecasts and develop actionable implementation plans.
- Build and manage cost-efficient tactical budgets.
- Foster relationships to align expectations and share insights.
- Upskill frontline advisors on effective client upselling techniques.
- Implement service excellence practices and efficiency models.
- Promote behaviors that enhance customer service and innovation.
- Stay updated on legislative changes and industry best practices.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance and risk management policies.
- Contribute to management discussions and disseminate key information.
- Identify cross-business opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce duplication.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- Degree or NQF Level qualification.
- Experience in Investment and Long-Term Insurance.
- 2–3 years in a BDM sales role.
- CFP certification preferred.
- Background working on platforms (e.g., LISP – Linked Investment Service Provider).
