We are excited to announce a key opportunity within Project Athena, Hollard’s strategic transformation initiative to modernize our policy and claims administration platform. We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead a multidisciplinary delivery team in configuring and enabling a next-generation short-term insurance platform.
Job Purpose
The Scrum Master will be pivotal in driving Project Athena by managing a cross-functional team, including Business stakeholders, Hollard IT, and Vendor resources. This team will configure and implement a short-term insurance product on a new Policy Administration System (PAS), enabling capabilities like product configuration, process automation, workflow orchestration, system integration, and document management.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Delivery & Facilitation
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and demos.
- Manage delivery cadence and sprint goals across internal and external team members.
- Maintain an up-to-date and visible product backlog and sprint board (e.g., Azure Boards).
- Promote Agile principles, transparency, and accountability within the team.
Multi-Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate the work of a blended team across Business, Hollard IT, and Vendor streams.
- Ensure alignment between functional, technical, and integration tasks across the PAS configuration lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to prioritize and deliver business value iteratively.
Impediment Removal & Issue Resolution
- Proactively identify and remove delivery obstacles across programme workstreams.
- Support efficient issue escalation and resolution with vendors and internal teams.
- Track risks, dependencies, and blockers impacting sprint commitments and delivery timelines.
