Retail Sales Assistant – Absolute Pets (Gqeberha)
Specialising in premium pet foods and accessories, Absolute Pets is the leading pet retailer in South Africa with over 170 stores nationwide. Our team of experts is looking for passionate and driven Retail Sales Assistants to join the Absolute Pets family in Gqeberha.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service and assist shoppers with product recommendations
- Maintain stock levels, ensure shelves are fully stocked, and place orders as needed
- Handle basic administration and operate store IT systems
- Follow all company policies and procedures diligently
- Demonstrate a passion for retail and a love for animals (product training provided)
Requirements:
- Matric or equivalent qualification
- 1 year of retail/sales experience (advantageous)
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to work flexible retail hours
- Physically capable of lifting and packing stock
- Hardworking, reliable, and dependable
- Interactive, engaging, and passionate about customer service
