Responsibilities
PepsiCo is seeking a Distribution Centre Controller to manage and oversee various responsibilities related to the effective administration and distribution of PepsiCo products. In this role, you will contribute to the achievement of sales targets, manage key customer relationships, and ensure the smooth operation of distribution functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Target Achievement:

    • Manage sales targets and obtain relevant sales information

    • Assist in the development and implementation of promotional plans within the distribution center (DC)

    • Communicate out-of-stock situations to relevant stakeholders, including company and DC stock levels, and provide recovery times

    • Negotiate bulk orders at the DC and Key Franchise stores

  • Effective Administration:

    • Provide management with product listings, including ranging, de-listing, item numbers, and new product development (NPD) listing and activation

    • Prepare weekly reports on allocations, late deliveries, queries, out-of-stocks, service levels, short-dated lines, overstocks, problem stores, and ranging issues

  • Customer and Company Liaison:

    • Assist in arranging trade shows for proper product representation

    • Develop and maintain effective relationships with franchise owners, managers, and customers

    • Liaise with company Key Account Managers (KAMs), customer buyers, regional sales operations managers, and 3rd-party agents

    • Meet with Catman managers to ensure alignment with company goals

  • Distribution and Product Management:

    • Regularly meet with DC management and customer buyers to coordinate product distribution

    • Supply operational teams with timely and accurate feedback on deliveries and stock management

    • Manage order bookings, configurations, and truck load mixes, ensuring timely communication with delivery expeditors

    • Liaise with the call center, DC management, and 3rd-party field managers to resolve and escalate queries

Qualifications

  • Experience in managing sales targets and distribution operations

  • Strong communication skills for internal and external liaison

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

  • Knowledge of inventory and order management systems

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Ability to negotiate and manage relationships with customers, franchise owners, and internal stakeholders
