As a Receiving Manager at Pick n Pay, you will be responsible for accurately receiving all store deliveries and managing vendor returns. You will minimize shrinkage risks, ensure proper disposal of stock according to company policy, and handle all administrative functions related to receiving procedures, including visitor and merchandiser entry control.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric/Grade 12
- 1–2 years of Receiving Supervisor experience
- Prior Receiving Supervisor role is advantageous
- Ability to read and interpret reports
- Strong adherence to standards, procedures, and policies
- Willingness to work long and flexible hours
- Physically capable of working in a demanding environment
- Able to work in all weather conditions

Key Responsibilities
- Systematically receive and return goods in line with company policies
- Conduct quality checks on received goods
- Maintain the cold chain process
- Uphold hygiene, housekeeping, and safety standards
- Adhere to and enforce security procedures
- Assist with backdoor security when required
- Prevent wastage, shrinkage, and damages
- Complete all necessary administrative tasks
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain clear communication with staff, management, customers, and suppliers
