Key Qualifications

  • Computer Literacy: Intermediate proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Experience:
    • 2-3 years of New Business Sales experience in Transport and Logistics.
    • Proven success in prospecting, achieving targets, and tender management.
    • Experience selling cross-silo solutions and managing a sales pipeline.
    • Strong administrative skills with high attention to detail.
  • Elective Skills: Basic understanding of industry supply chains.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Business Development: Sign new clients in the Distribution market and meet monthly/annual targets.
  • Pipeline Management: Prospect, qualify leads, and convert them into sustainable client relationships.
  • Client & Financial Oversight: Manage client accounts, monthly billing, and financial reporting.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Provide weekly sales updates, competitor insights, and industry trends to the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Tender & Proposal Management: Assist in the preparation and delivery of proposals.
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Identify cross-silo opportunities and work with other teams.
  • CRM & Compliance: Maintain accurate client data, update the CRM system, and ensure adherence to company procedures.
  • Mentorship: Guide junior Sales Executives.
  • Performance Metrics: Meet KPIs for client calls and debtor management.
