About the Role
We are seeking a visionary Cloud Architect (Senior Manager) to design and deliver advanced cloud solutions that align with business goals and industry best practices. This role requires deep expertise across multiple cloud environments, enabling you to architect, advise, and lead high-impact engagements with clients. You’ll guide organizations through cloud adoption, modernization, and optimization, ensuring security, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Architecture & Strategy
- Design end-to-end cloud architectures that meet current and future business needs.
- Develop cloud roadmaps and multi-cloud/hybrid strategies (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Align cloud solutions with enterprise transformation initiatives.
Solution Design & Delivery
- Translate business requirements into secure, scalable cloud solutions.
- Lead architecture assessments, governance, and implementation across infrastructure, data, and applications.
- Oversee migrations, cloud-native development, and DevSecOps enablement.
Cloud Advisory & Consulting
- Act as a trusted advisor, providing vendor-neutral cloud guidance.
- Drive cloud adoption, modernization, and cost optimization.
- Share thought leadership on emerging cloud trends and best practices.
Technical Leadership & Governance
- Define architectural standards, patterns, and reusable frameworks.
- Coach engineers, solution architects, and delivery teams.
- Ensure compliance, security, and operational readiness.
Stakeholder Management & Delivery Oversight
- Engage with CIOs, CTOs, and enterprise architects to communicate technical risks and solutions.
- Support business development, proposals, and client workshops.
Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years in IT architecture, with 5+ years in cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, GCP, hybrid).
- Strong cloud solution design experience across infrastructure, applications, and data.
- Proficiency in software development (Java, .NET, or Python).
- Expertise in security, networking, automation (IaC), DevOps, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud migration, multi-cloud strategies, and cloud-native patterns.
- Familiarity with TOGAF or SABSA frameworks (a plus).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (advanced degree preferred).
