Regional Marketer – Construction and Forestry
AFGRI Equipment is seeking a talented Regional Marketer – Construction and Forestry to join our team in Gauteng (East Rand). In this role, you will drive the marketing and sales of construction and forestry equipment by engaging with mining, rental, and construction companies, understanding their needs, presenting tailored solutions, and ensuring exceptional follow-up on all sales opportunities.
Requirements
Required Minimum Education/Training
- Grade 12
- Relevant Sales or Marketing qualification
- Valid driver’s license
Required Minimum Work Experience
- At least 3 years of business, sales, and marketing experience
- Proven sales track record with a top 5 OEM
- Experience in marketing construction and forestry equipment
Key Performance Areas
Marketing Management
- Drive marketing initiatives to achieve sales targets
- Conduct equipment demonstrations and presentations
- Close sales and support all equipment divisions
Procurement & Stock Control
- Assist in stock planning, forecasting, and procurement
- Ensure timely delivery of orders and negotiate favorable deals
Market Development
- Expand and protect existing market segments
- Drive business growth in line with AFGRI’s strategic goals
- Maintain and grow John Deere market share
Administration and Reporting
- Accurately record and monitor business activities
- Ensure compliance and order accuracy
- Submit monthly forecasts and resolve pending transactions
- Provide detailed, timely reports on business performance
