Job Requirements:
- 2-3 years of new business sales experience in the Transport and Logistics industry
- Strong prospecting skills for new business development
- Proven track record of achieving new business targets
- Experience in tender management and selling cross-silo solutions
- Ability to develop and manage a qualified new business pipeline
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong administrative skills with high attention to detail
- Basic understanding of industry supply chains
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sign new business in the Distribution market for the allocated region, meeting monthly and annual targets.
- Prospect for new business and convert leads into sustainable billing clients.
- Manage client relationships, including billing and financial reporting.
- Conduct competitor and industry analysis.
- Assist in tender/proposal preparation and presentation.
- Analyze sales data and report weekly to the Regional Sales Manager.
- Maintain client data and update the internal CRM system.
- Ensure debtor days of signed clients comply with company requirements.
- Identify cross-silo solutions and collaborate with other department heads.
- Mentor junior New Business Sales Executives.
- Represent the DSV brand professionally.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and Quality Management System.
- Perform additional duties as requested by Management.
