What You Will Do
- Grow Sanlam Retail Mass’s customer base and revenue by developing and executing the retail branch strategy.
- Guide, integrate, and standardize Sales Consultants’ activities to align with strategic goals.
- Foster a service-driven culture to enhance client experiences within and beyond the branch.
- Oversee daily branch operations, strategy development, and business planning.
- Drive sales performance and establish a strong service culture.
- Ensure compliance, quality, and risk management standards are upheld.
- Manage HR practices for direct reports, including talent development, performance, and capacity management.
- Report monthly on sales and service activities.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders (Area Managers, Business Owners, community forums).
Education & Experience
- Matric (Grade 12).
- RE1 and RE5 certifications.
- 120 Wealth Management credits or FSCA-recognized tertiary qualification.
- Class of Business accreditation (annual).
- Compliant with CPD requirements.
- 5+ years in the industry, with 3+ years in leadership.
- Service management and insurance sales experience.
- Credit/lending experience preferred.
