Role Overview
As the Clinical Data Management Lead (FSP), you will oversee end-to-end delivery of data management services for multi-service projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables on time and within budget. You will guide the team in project planning, execution, financial management, communications, and milestone deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and vision to the clinical data management team.
- Manage large-scale, high-complexity studies across multiple sponsors and therapeutic areas.
- Oversee sponsor relationships at both study and program levels.
- Drive expertise in specialized areas (e.g., process optimization, financial oversight).
- Ensure milestones are met with quality deliverables and adherence to timelines.
- Apply project management expertise to collaborate with customer data managers, internal teams, and stakeholders to enhance processes and provide technical guidance.
- Maintain clear communication with customers and IQVIA leadership to fulfill contractual obligations.
- Lead Contract negotiations and service performance reviews.
- Foster collaboration with Data Operations, functional leads, and project stakeholders.
- Support service delivery through comprehensive data management process and technical expertise.
- Develop, review, and approve all Data Management Plan (DMP) documents.
- Monitor service performance, identify root causes of issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Serve as the escalation point for unresolved data issues, coordinating with clients, vendors, and teams for resolution.
- Maintain accurate tracking databases and internal systems.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, clinical research, mathematics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of direct Clinical Data Management experience, including 3+ years as a project lead.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
