Value is looking for a proactive and solutions-driven Back Door Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for visiting allocated stores and distribution centres to ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient back door operations. You’ll act as the key link between back door operations and our internal teams, helping to resolve issues, build relationships, and enhance turnaround times.
Purpose of the Role
To ensure smooth operational processes at the back doors of stores and distribution centres by identifying and resolving bottlenecks, improving stock flow, and driving communication and efficiency between stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain strong relationships with back door teams at stores and DCs

Conduct monthly visits to each allocated store and distribution centre

Understand and monitor all back door processes from receipt, dispatch, and returns to ensure operational compliance

Keep back door and DC requirements updated monthly

Provide consistent support and problem resolution to stores and operations teams

Escalate and resolve issues affecting stock processing and turnaround times

Monitor and improve booking efficiency and offloading timelines

Drive adoption of technology and system integrations to streamline operations

Implement best practices to reduce stock returns and delays
Minimum Requirements
-
Grade 12 (Matric)
-
A qualification in Logistics, Warehouse, or related field is advantageous
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in Retail or Distribution Centre back door operations, audits, or troubleshooting delayed offloads
-
Own reliable transport and valid driver’s license
