Store Manager Mr Price Cellular Talent Pool (Eastern Cape) – Mr Price Vacancies
Mr Price is inviting experienced retail professionals to join the Store Manager Talent Pool for Mr Price Cellular Stores in the Eastern Cape. This opportunity ensures you will be among the first considered for upcoming Store Manager roles within the region.
Responsibilities
Stock Management:
- Oversee accurate stock receipt, unpacking, and merchandising.
- Manage stock levels through regular stock counts and loss prevention strategies.
- Maintain stockroom organization and housekeeping standards.
- Approve write-offs, breakages, recalls, OBF (out-of-box failures), cellular repairs, and returns.
Sales Growth & Profitability:
- Analyze sales and profitability reports to drive operational improvements.
- Monitor in-store product performance and provide feedback to enhance sales.
- Identify and implement strategies for sales growth, including in-store marketing and competitor analysis.
- Drive performance in credit, insurance, mobile, and cellular categories to achieve budgeted targets.
Risk Management:
- Conduct compliance checks, including store audits, POS reports, and health & safety evaluations.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Customer Experience Management:
- Implement customer service processes, including markdowns, repricing, promotions, and visual merchandising.
- Maintain high customer service standards through structured engagement strategies.
Leadership & Development:
- Lead and support the store team to achieve key performance indicators.
- Identify training, coaching, and development needs to build future leadership.
- Manage recruitment and performance in alignment with company policies.
Innovation:
- Implement innovation initiatives from Head Office, including digital and process enhancements to improve efficiency and customer experience.
Qualifications:
- NQF Level 4 (Grade 12) or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in store management.
- Strong knowledge of sales, service management, budgeting, and retail operations.
- Proficiency in computer applications and business communication.
- Understanding of retail trade, brand positioning, customer service, cellular products, mobile services, new accounts, and insurance.
