Store Manager – Mr Price Vacancies

Mr Price Zambia is looking for a Store Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales growth, and ensure exceptional customer service while maintaining company standards.

Responsibilities

Stock Management

• Ensure accurate receiving and unpacking of stock for merchandising and replenishment.
• Monitor and manage stock levels to mitigate risks and maintain adequate stock on hand.
• Oversee stockroom maintenance to meet housekeeping standards.
• Authorize write-offs, breakages, recalls, and returns.

Sales Growth & Profitability

• Analyze sales and profitability reports to implement operational strategies that drive sales performance.
• Monitor in-store product performance and provide feedback to support center.
• Identify opportunities to increase sales and enhance brand awareness.

Risk Management

• Conduct compliance checks and enforce adherence to company policies and procedures.

Customer Experience Management

• Implement customer experience processes, including markdowns, promotions, repricing, and store presentation, to meet service standards.
• Maintain high standards of general housekeeping and visual merchandising.

Leadership & Development

• Lead and motivate the team to achieve store KPIs in line with company values.
• Identify training and development needs, focusing on talent management and succession planning.
• Recruit, manage, and develop staff in accordance with company policies.

Innovation

• Implement head office innovation initiatives to enhance the customer experience and optimize in-store processes.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 qualification.
• 3 to 5 years of retail store management experience.
• Strong knowledge of sales, service, and budgeting.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Understanding of retail trade, brand, customer, and product dynamics.
