Mr Price is seeking a newly qualified CA(SA) to join our Finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, has strong analytical skills, and pays close attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage annual budgets for head office and stores, reviewing monthly performance and updating forecasts accordingly.
• Monitor store performance against budget and provide financial analysis to support decision-making.
• Prepare management accounts and period-end statutory packs.
• Collaborate with operations on financial matters, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Analyze capital expenditure and review pricing structures to optimize profit margins.
• Perform IFRS 16 reconciliations and forecast forex exposure.
• Drive process efficiencies and financial optimization strategies.
• Assess feasibility studies for new stores and support ad hoc financial projects.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) – eligible or registered.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proven people management and leadership skills.
