Store Manager – Mr Price Vacancies

Mr Price is looking for a results-driven Store Manager to lead and oversee the operations of a Mr Price Money Cellular store. This role is responsible for achieving store targets, driving innovation, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Responsibilities

Stock Management

• Ensure stock is accurately received, unpacked, and merchandised.
• Monitor and manage stock levels to minimize loss and maintain availability.
• Oversee stockroom organization and housekeeping standards.
• Approve write-offs, breakages, recalls, OBF (out-of-box failures), cellular repairs, and returns.

Sales Growth & Profitability

• Analyze sales and profitability reports to implement effective strategies.
• Track product performance and provide feedback to optimize sales.
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue through in-store marketing and competitor analysis.
• Drive sales in credit, insurance, mobile, and cellular categories to meet budgeted targets.

Risk Management

• Conduct compliance checks, including store audits, POS reports, and security assessments.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and health and safety standards.

Customer Experience Management

• Implement customer service strategies, including markdowns, repricing, promotions, and visual merchandising.
• Maintain high service standards through structured engagement initiatives.

Leadership & Development

• Lead and motivate the store team to achieve performance goals.
• Identify training, coaching, and development needs for team growth.
• Manage recruitment and performance in alignment with company policies.

Innovation

• Implement innovation initiatives from Head Office to enhance efficiency and improve customer service.

Qualifications

• NQF Level 4 (Grade 12) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a store management role.
• Strong knowledge of sales, service management, budgeting, and retail operations.
• Proficiency in computer applications and communication.
• Understanding of retail trade, customer service, cellular products, mobile services, new accounts, and insurance.
