Mr Price is looking for an experienced Store Manager to lead and manage the daily operations at Amajuba Centre, Volksrust. This role is focused on achieving store targets, driving innovation, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

Stock Management

• Ensure accurate stock receiving, unpacking, and merchandising.
• Monitor and manage stock levels to minimize risks and maintain availability.
• Oversee stockroom maintenance and housekeeping standards.
• Authorize write-offs, breakages, recalls, and returns.

Sales Growth & Profitability

• Analyze sales and profitability reports to develop and implement action plans.
• Monitor product performance and provide feedback to enhance sales.
• Identify and propose new opportunities to drive sales and increase brand awareness.

Risk Management

• Conduct compliance checks and enforce adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Ensure all risk management processes are followed, including security and safety standards.

Customer Experience Management

• Implement customer service strategies, including markdowns, repricing, promotions, and visual merchandising.
• Ensure high service standards through effective customer engagement and feedback management.

Leadership & Development

• Lead and motivate the store team to achieve KPIs and align with company values.
• Identify training, coaching, and development needs to build team capability.
• Manage recruitment, performance, and team development in line with company policies.

Innovation

• Implement Head Office innovation initiatives to enhance customer experience and improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in retail store management
• Sales and service management knowledge
• Budgeting and financial understanding
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Strong communication skills
• Business understanding of retail trade, brand, customer, and product
