Store Manager – Mr Price Vacancies

Mr Price is looking for an experienced Store Manager to lead and manage daily operations at Mhluzi Mall, Middelburg. This role is responsible for achieving store targets, driving innovation, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Stock Management

• Ensure accurate receiving, unpacking, and merchandising of stock.
• Monitor and manage stock levels to reduce losses and maintain availability.
• Oversee stockroom maintenance and housekeeping standards.
• Authorize write-offs, breakages, recalls, and returns.

Sales Growth & Profitability

• Analyze sales and profitability reports to implement effective action plans.
• Monitor in-store product performance and provide feedback to improve sales.
• Identify and implement new opportunities to drive sales and enhance brand awareness.

Risk Management

• Conduct compliance checks to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Maintain security and safety standards to minimize risk.

Customer Experience Management

• Implement customer service strategies, including markdowns, repricing, promotions, and visual merchandising.
• Maintain high customer service standards through engagement and feedback management.

Leadership & Development

• Lead and motivate the store team to achieve KPIs and align with company values.
• Identify training, coaching, and development needs to enhance team performance.
• Manage recruitment, performance, and succession planning in accordance with company policies.

Innovation

• Implement Head Office innovation initiatives to enhance customer experience and improve in-store processes.

Qualifications

• Grade 12
• 3 to 5 years of experience in retail store management
• Knowledge of sales and service management
• Budgeting and financial understanding
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Strong communication skills
• Business understanding of retail trade, brand, customer, and product
