Tekkie Town Vacancies – Store Manager – Maclearl

Tekkie Town is looking for a driven and experienced Store Manager to lead our Maclear team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a retail environment and is passionate about sales, customer service, and team development. The Store Manager will report directly to the Area Sales Manager and play a key role in driving profitability and operational excellence in the store.

Key Responsibilities of the Store Manager:

  • Drive sales and exceed monthly turnover targets.

  • Manage daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient store performance.

  • Minimize stock loss and control store expenses.

  • Lead, coach, and develop store staff to achieve high performance.

  • Implement visual merchandising standards and promotions effectively.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures.

  • Maintain brand standards and deliver a strong customer experience.

  • Oversee store opening and closing procedures.

  • Support succession planning and employee development within the team.

  • Uphold Tekkie Town’s culture and values at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12 / Matric.

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a store or retail management role.

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Fluent in English and one additional official South African language.

  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and sales skills.

  • Analytical mindset with excellent planning and organizational skills.

  • High energy, performance-driven, and goal-oriented.

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Own transport and a valid driver’s license are advantageous.
